Gambia: Women's Bureau Validates Report On AU Solemn Declaration On Gender Equality

 Women's Bureau under the Office of the Vice President and Ministry of Women's Affairs, with support from the United Nation Funds for Population Affairs (UNFPA) Thursday validated the first draft of the 2nd periodic report of the African Union (AU) Solemn Declaration on Gender Equality, at the NaNA conference hall in Bakau.

Gambia: Wyce Gives Ramadan Gifts to Villages

 Wonder Years Centre of Excellence (WYCE), a non-Government Organisation (NGO) based in Madina Salam Village in the West Coast Region, on Saturday donated food items to 45 families in three villages. The donated items included rice, dates, Irish potato, oil, milk and sugar.

 The Imam of Lamin mosque has called on Muslims to endeavour and make the most of the last 10-days of the holy month of Ramadan by praying as much as possible especially at night saying, the period is full of rewards from the Almighty Allah. He said Allah (S.W.T) will accept the invocations of those who pray and ask for his forgiveness and protect them from hell fire.

Gambian international reggae singer, Sing-a-teh has already started working on his debut international album reports reaching What's On reveals.
The rising international music sensation no doubt is one of the most celebrated Gambian artistes of recent time. The Bansang born sensation is currently working with IDub Music in Germany and Hit City Records in Atlanta, Georgia are behind the production of this much anticipated masterpiece.
Meanwhile, IDub Music is exclusively responsible for financing the project.
